Privacy Policy

When you fill in the quote form we receive your name, phone number, email address and message, plus the service and city if you choose to fill those in. Nothing else is required and there is no account to create.

The form arrives as an email in our own inbox. We use Resend, an email delivery service, to carry it there. Resend handles the message in transit and does not use your details for anything of its own.

We use what you send to reply to you and to quote the job. We do not sell it, rent it out, or pass it to anyone else.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It tells us which pages people read, roughly where they are (city level, worked out from the IP address, which Google does not hand us), what device and browser they used, and which site or search sent them. It does not tell us who you are.

We also record when someone taps a Call, Text or Email button and when the quote form is sent. We record that it happened and which button was used, never the number dialled or what you wrote in a message.

Two kinds, and this is the whole list.

• Resend delivers the quote form to our inbox.
• Google Analytics counts the visits described above.
• Google Maps shows our yard on the contact page, and only after you click to load it. Until you do, nothing is requested from Google on your behalf.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; you will just have to pick your language again. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site that uses it.

Google Analytics opt-out add-on

This site does not change its behaviour in response to a browser Do Not Track signal, because there is no agreed standard for what that response should be.

Write to us and we will tell you what we have about you, and delete it if you want it gone. We will answer within 30 days and you do not need to give a reason.

Quote requests stay in our email inbox for as long as they are useful to the job and to our records. The analytics figures are held by Google for the retention period set on the property, in aggregate and not tied to your name.

This site is for people hiring a welder. We do not direct it at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

If what we collect changes, we will change this page and move the date at the top. There is no other version of this policy.
